Most of us have been told that we need to go to college in order to be successful. However, not all of us have the time, or money, for higher education. Here's some good news for those who won't be pursuing a higher education--if you think you need a bachelor's degree to be successful, think again. Do you know there are some interesting and great paying careers that require only an Associates Degree?
Many well-paying careers requiring an Associates Degree are technically based. Technician positions in computer technology, aerospace, mechanics, and engineering offer great careers that require only an Associates Degrees. These jobs offer exciting work environments and salaries that most people with Bachelors Degrees would envy. Medical and dental arenas also offer good paying jobs without a higher degree. If you have an inclination to work as a dental technician, a radiation therapist, or in nuclear medicine, you can have success in a well-paying career that requires only an Associates Degree. However, if you are not technically oriented, a career in journalism, early childhood development, or paralegal work also offers an exciting job environment and can be potentially lucrative as well. Journalism majors can find work in a wide range of media and corporate venues, early childhood development students can find rewarding work in schools or as nannies, and those who earn their associates degree in law can find good jobs as researchers in legal firms or as paralegals in the courthouse. Remember, you don't need a B.A. or a M.A. to find a great career; many great careers rank highly with an Associates Degree.
