Associate Degree of Arts

A Well Rounded Education
An associate's degree of arts offers you a well-rounded education and is the precursor to acquiring a bachelor's degree. An associate's of arts degree is an undergraduate degree that can be earned in two years. When you are ready, you can then be transferred to a full four-year bachelor's degree program such as a bachelor's of arts or other field in which you would like to focus your studies. This works well if you are not sure what you want to do when you graduate.
Similar to a liberal arts degree, an associate's of arts degree will help you focus your studies in philosophy, literature, writing or film just to mention a few. Typical course work includes history, philosophy, computer technology, biology, science, English composition, U.S. history, chemistry, and geography.
Competition for jobs is steep and employers are looking for educated, well-informed employees that are able to communicate well with staff and customers. Individuals who have a degree will typically have an easier time finding a job and make more money annually than an individual that does not. Do yourself a favor and get the education you deserve by earning your associate's of arts degree.
